Dr. Katherine Tran (Nguyen), also known as Dr. Kat, is an accomplished and dedicated optometrist serving patients in Houston, TX . Her passion for eye care began in high school when she started working for her own optometrist, and she has been making a positive impact on her patients’ lives ever since.

In addition to her work as an optometrist, Dr. Kat believes that eyewear can be a direct reflection of someone’s individuality. She takes great pride in offering her patients high-quality eyewear that not only looks great but helps improve their vision. She practices primary care optometry including diagnosis of an array of eye diseases, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. She also emphasizes in specialty contact lenses and dry eye.

When she’s not working, you can find her staying active by running, doing pilates, and spending time with family, friends, and her very best companion, Hamilton. Oh, and she loves all things DIY. She believes that a healthy lifestyle is key to maintaining good eye health and overall well-being.
